Kai Motta is an author, comedian, musician, artist and filmmaker.
Writing plays a significant role in most of his creative endeavours, whether this be writing novels and articles, lyrics to songs, stand up comedy or film scripts.
From the Deep South of England, Folkestone twinned with Alabama (as his comedy act 'The High Priest' chooses to describe where he currently resides) in his writing studio, hand built, situated by the river that passes through his garden, Kai can be found working on different subjects across different genres.
Influences include Henry Miller, Charles Bukowski, Will Self, Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, Hubert Selby Jr, Dave Eggers and many more. Motta is interested in the psychological, political and pornographic elements of the human race and how it is influenced in the current digital age by technology and where it could/may lead us.
